    Posted: 15 Feb 2008 at 11:11pm
Hi everyone

I have a couple of motor industry jobs going here in Australia with employers who are dead keen to sponsor. In migration terms this means they have been (or are going through the process) approved as Business Sponsors and they are willing to offer employment to anyone who would like to come to Australia on a 457 visa (this is fast-track temporary visa with option to go permanent whilst onshore in Australia).

I would really like to offer South African's first dibs because I was born and raised in Gauteng - and obviously have a great love of South Africans.

Can anyone give me some guidelines on where to advertise for MOTOR MECHANICS? Or does anyone know of NISSAN, MITSUBISHI, KIA, VOLKSWAGEN AND BMW MECHANICS who want to move?

These are the urgent ones, but I have jobs for most brands at the moment.

Many thanks
Dany

Hi,
My name is John Salmon. I am not South African but am wanting to move to OZ on a sponsorship visa.
I am 25yrs old, single and have been a qualified car mechanic for 3yrs now. I did my training at HONDA motor company and since then have worked at a Honda garage and now at a Mercedees garage. I am diagnositc trained and am about to start my MOT training.
The plan has always been to move to OZ to settle. Now seems to be the right time for me. I have a sister, brother-in-law and 2 neices who are also moving to Oz (perth) early next yr.
Haven't attached my CV yet as wasn't sure if I would be considered as a possible applicant. I have no ties in the UK so could be with you ASAP.
Am interested in the 457 visa as it is cheaper and faster.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards
John

Dear Dany

My Fiance is looking for a job as a motor mechanic, and he is having endless trouble trying to find a position in South Africa.
He has experience, just not the necessary qualifications.
I would like to find out if you would be able to assist in this regard.
He really needs a chance, and it is quite impossible to get anywhere without a degree or qualification od some sort.
Thank you,
Liezle

I am seeking sponcership as me and my fiancee are hoping to migrate to Brisbane on a permanent basis.
If anybody knows of any dealerships seeking sponcers also, your help would be much appreciated as we have a baby due and would like to get the ball rolling asap.

Hi Giancarlo

Do you have a CV that you can send to me? I have a couple of things on the boil at the moment, but would really need to know where your strengths and experience lie before I could make any suggestions.

You can email your info to me on dany@nineyards.com.au - have a great week.

Dany

Hi Edi

Does Tracy assist with all sorts of recruitment or only trades. I am a qualified HR

Practitioner and my husband is a Business Analyst. We have already applied for a relative sponsored visa, but finding a job would be a great bonus.

Look forward to hearing from you.

hello, my name is Stuart Parker.
I am 17 years old and I am currently in Matric.
I am extremely passionate about cars and I would like to be an auto mechanic.
My subjects in school are as follows: English home language, Afrikaans second language, Maths, Physical Science, Economics and Accounting.
I was wondering if any of you can give me advice on what and where to further my studies as a mechanic.
I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.
