I urgently need help regarding tax clearance and sending rand to Australia. I dont have a tax number because I have not worked in SA since 1999. In order for me to transfer funds from an investment I need a tax clearance certificate. How do i go about doing that. I tried contacting SARS and the Reserve Bank, but (surprize surprize) nobody has gotten back to me (1 month!!!)
