Any SA lawyers out there?

   Hi there

I'm looking to relocate to Miami, or near Miami as I have some mates in Fort Lauderdale. Visas aren't an issue, but my career is, I am a dual qualified Solicitor/Attorney with English and SA experience.

My wife and I are still really torn between going back from London to SA with our 10 month old to keep the families together , or going to the states for a more secure future, especially with so much kak going down at the moment. My mates photos of florida are unreal, and their lifestyle sounds excellent on pretty average salaries, but I'm pretty worried about whether I can make a decent living at first.

Sooo, I'm wondering whether there are any SA lawyers on here with views on getting
paralegal work to start off, and if possible what it takes to write the Florida/California bar,
requalifying, etc. I am sure its no picnic, so would really appreciate
some info. I tried writing to a couple recruitment agencies, but no
response as yet...
