Hi i am a 32 year old whos currently working in South Africa at Sasol Gas an an instrument and controls technician. I would like to move to Australia asap. My trade falls under General/Electronic Instrument Tradeperson. I have been to several migration agents and they all tell me that i have the 120pts and qualify for the independent skills visa which is ok but the processing time for this visa is about 2yrs, which i way too long for me.

Is it possible to get a state/regional sponsored visa, whats the process and the costs involved and what are my chances. Also if there is anyone with any employment agencies that do placements to Australia i would appreciate if we share the infomation.

Sorry for the long posting, but any help with the regards to the above will be appreciated.
